Saint Nicholas Freedom Group Mission Statement

By the Grace of God, the Saint Nicholas Freedom Group focuses on the inherent and unalterable value of the image and likeness of God in every human person regardless of any of their indelible characteristics or personal beliefs. St. Nicholas Freedom Group works as a leader in a pan-Orthodox Christian effort to functionally ameliorate the scourge of human slavery of any, as well as the other most brutal types of oppression that afflict the most vulnerable of God’s people, women, and children.
Simultaneously, St. Nicholas Freedom Group works to preserve as well as protect the freedom of belief and conscience of every human person. St. Nicholas Freedom Group works locally, nationally, and internationally through the process of education, prevention, the intervention of and by individuals, Churches, Church organizations, and Ecclesiastical jurisdictions.
The Saint Nicholas Freedom Group will leverage all available resources (personnel, financial, material, legal, spiritual) in a conscientious manner. Saint Nicholas Freedom Group will utilize educational processes, preventive processes, and interventive resources to their maximum effect, with a primary focus for the foreseeable future on ending human slavery.
Saint Nicholas Freedom Group will actively seek partnerships with solid actors in the execution of its mission while maintaining an institutional ethos and practical ethical behavior of the highest Orthodox Christian standard. We are thereby fostering through transparency and accountability, the strong bonds of trust with our benefactors.
